My Diet History

Ok, so I have not tried a lot of diets just a few:

  • Slow-Carb - Well this was a bust also as I need to get off the carbs totally.
  • Weight Watchers - To much work counting points.
  • Atkins - I love this but with no local in your face support it's hard to get past the first two weeks of cravings. But still feels like the most promising.
  • Carbohydrate Addicts Diet - this didn't last long because we turned the one free meal per day into a massive binge!
  • UWeight Loss Clinics - This program worked I did lose almost 60 lbs but I gained back about 40 lbs before starting the Slow Carb Diet. I took almost 2 months off the plan for part of November and all of December 2011. I would say this is a good program for anyone that enjoys cooking and does not have the extreme food cravings I have. The down side was we paid a lot for this program (vitamins) and in the end it was for a 22 lbs loss. Because I couldn't stay on program properly it cost me about $120 per lost  pound.
As an adult I have issues eating small meals throughout the day. I normally am not hungry during the morning and then have a massive supper after work. This was not healthy at all, starve - binge is not the way to lose weight.
